New Student Registration 2010/2011
We are now accepting Applications for Admission from new students for the 2010/2011 school year. Please download and complete all registration forms then call the school office to make an appointment. Since class size is limited, registration priority is given first to St. Bernadette parishioners.
School Tours Prospective parents are asked to contact Principal Mrs. Arlene Baumann at 708.422.6429 to schedule a personal tour of the school.
Items needed for registration include:

original baptismal certificate

student's social security card
-
$50 non-refundable registration fee for new families to the school.
Testing: Students going into 2nd grade or above will be required to take the Star Math and Star Reading Test.
In order to attend St. Bernadette School and according
to Illinois State Code ILCS5/10-20.12 a child must be:

Born on or before September 1, 2007 to attend 3 Year Old Preschool

Born on or before September 1, 2006 to attend 4 year Old Preschool

Born on or before September 1, 2005 to attend Kindergarten

Born on or before September 1, 2004 to attend Grade 1

Born on or before September 1, 2003 to attend Grade 2

Born on or before September 1, 2002 to attend Grade 3

Born on or before September 1, 2001 to attend Grade 4

Born on or before September 1, 2000 to attend Grade 5

Born on or before September 1, 1999 to attend Grade 6

Born on or before September 1, 1998 to attend Grade 7

Born on or before September 1, 1997 to attend Grade 8
School Uniforms
Uniforms are worn the first day of school and every day thereafter for grades K-8. Parents and students are asked to cooperate fully regarding the wearing of the regulation uniform. More information can be found in the in the Parent/Student Handbook.

Volunteering At School 
If you plan on volunteering, chaperoning a field trip, or becoming a substitute teacher at St. Bernadette Catholic Academy, you will need to have a background check completed. Download
all necessary forms, located under the "Volunteer" tab, complete paperwork & on-line
registrations and return all paperwork to the school office.
